I like the choreo for Smart, but I don’t think these white outfits did it justice. Sometimes it feels like the outfit hides the true impact of the choreo and, well, it could have been a better video in this aspect. Overall it’s a very fun choreo to do

For those of you that still think illit is not taking inspiration from newjeans just look at his reaction a few years ago to newjeans debut EP. He and many other will mention how different newjeans are with not only their music but having black hair, aesthetic kind of videos were not a thing back there. I think a lot of you are new to K-pop or just forgot old K-pop. But newjeans did bring anew wave of K-pop. He says in this video that illit has soft vocals like a lot of groups these days and they lack a strong vocalist and was also not impressed by their concept but back when newjeans debuted everyone was saying that debuting with such a unconventional song like attention was new and refreshing. Their soft vocals were praised instead of basic. This just says that newjeans did make a huge impact and many of you just have forgotten about it. NO K-POP GROUP MADE A DEBUT WITH SUCH A SOFT SONG BEFORE NEWJEANS.

What I really appreciate about this song, this Best Of album, and Seventeen in general is that they are the perfect/best mixture of the complexity and layering of a group that knows where they want to go and exactly how they want to do produce it/choreograph it, and as you said “A boy group just serving cunt”- and in this album I feel like they 4 new songs play so well with the older songs selected and you can feel similarities and growth and a continued evolution, no matter what they serve cunt
